🧸Who We Help

Operation KidSight focuses on preschool and elementary-aged children, typically between the ages of 6 months and 6 years. These are the critical years when vision problems can go unnoticed, yet early detection can make all the difference. 

🔍 How It Works

Using high-tech, non-invasive vision screening devices, trained Lions Club members can screen both eyes in just a few seconds — no eye drops, no discomfort, and no need for the child to read or respond. The screenings can help detect:

• Nearsightedness & farsightedness 👓

• Astigmatism 🔄

• Lazy eye (amblyopia)

• Other early vision concerns ⚠️

If a potential issue is detected, parents are provided with a free referral to an eye care professional for a complete eye exam.
