Ready to speak up and stand out? This competition is your chance to share your ideas o and take the stage in front of a real audience. It all starts at your local club and builds up to the statewide finals at the exciting Mid-Winter Convention on January 24, 2026. 

The Concord Lions are seeking competitors from the Concord and surrounding areas. Competitors must submit a completed entry form and a copy of their speech prior to the contest. Students may use up to three 3”x5” index cards for notes. 

Speeches must be original. Speeches will be screened for an over-reliance on artificial intelligence and may be disqualified.  Any speech found to be plagiarized will be disqualified, and the student will be prohibited from entering any future Lions Speak Out competitions.
